Find Funding Opportunities

This site includes some of the many available sources of portable (not school-specific) funding. For an explanation of the various types of available funding, see our section on Paying For School.  In addition, we encourage you to look into the availability of institution-based financial aid at the health professional school(s) you would like to attend.

A word to the wise: Don't be fleeced! There are a number of scholarship scams out there. The Federal Trade Commission offers some good advice on how to avoid falling prey to unscrupulous lenders.

You must select search criteria from at least one category to obtain any results. To yield the greatest number of funding sources, select one search criteria at a time. For example, search for all funding sources in your state, leaving the other three categories set to "any." Or, search for all funding sources available to students of your ethnicity, again leaving the other categories open.

NOTE: Ethnicity categories correspond to commonly-occurring terms used by funding sources. We encourage you to select the category/categories that most closely match your background, even if you cannot find the group with which you identify. Doing so will generate the largest number of funding sources for which you may qualify.
