Call for Profiles

Nominate an academic institution, healthcare practitioner or student to be showcased on ExploreHealthCareers.org

ExploreHealthCareers.org (EHC) would like to highlight and acknowledge the efforts of academic institutions, healthcare practitioners and students dedicated to increasing the diversity of the health and health workforce and access to quality healthcare. 

Toward that end, ExploreHealthCareers.org announces 3 Calls for Profiles: 

We welcome submissions from community colleges, 4-year undergraduate and graduate health profession institutions, Historically Black Colleges, Hispanic Serving Institutions and Tribal Colleges.  Profiles from all fields and levels of health care are encouraged.

How to submit a profile

Please address questions and submit profiles (no more than 750 words) to:

Your submission will be reviewed by Explore Health Careers staff. If accepted for publication and posting, you will be asked to sign a permission to publish form and send a photograph. Thank you!

About EHC

www.explorehealthcareers.org is a free, comprehensive website for students who are interested in pursuing careers in the health professions.  EHC stands alone as the nationally focused, full-service resource for students, advisors, health educators, and constituents.  The website provides:

  • Overviews of more than 80 health careers in 18 fields, including academic requirements, accredited programs, and job outlook
  • Salary ranges for all careers
  • 600 + pre-health enrichment programs, including summer program and internships
  • 500+ sources of portable financial aid
  • Advice on how to succeed in health professions school
  • Information on current health policy topics
  • Search engines that allow visitors to search by salary or number of years of schooling required
  • Timely articles and useful links. 

The mission of www.ExploreHealthCareers.org is to address the under-representation of minorities in the workforce and the shortage of health professionals in medically-underserved communities. 

This multidisciplinary website is a nonprofit, collaborative initiative involving national foundations, professional associations, health career advisors, educational institutions, and college students.  Support for this site is provided in part by a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in Princeton, New Jersey.  The site is administered by the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
