CROET, the Center for Research on Occupational and Environmental Toxicology, is dedicated to health and safety in the workforce. Our mission is to promote health, and prevent disease and disability among working Oregonians and their families during their employment years and through retirement.
The Summer Student Research Awards are two to three month long paid summer internships designed to introduce college sophomores, junior, and seniors to various fields of biomedical research. To be eligible for a CROET-funded award, students must be Oregon residents or attend college in Oregon, Washington or Idaho. There are four SBRC-funded awards that are available to any U.S. resident. Women, members of historically underrepresented groups, and economically and educationally disadvantaged applicants are encouraged to apply. Online applications are preferred.
