Description

Merit-Based Awards: The Minority Access to Research Careers (MARC) program provides paid laboratory research positions for qualified honors juniors and seniors who plan to attend graduate school in the biomedical fields. The program is supported by a grant from the National Institutes of Health.

Eligibility

Students must be one of the Federal Designated Minority Groups, must be either a citizen or a green card holder, a full time student with a GPA of 3.2 or better. Student must be interested in pursuing a Ph D in a biomedically related field upon graduation from Lehman. The successful student who is invited to join the MARC program will be assigned to a research project with a faculty member, receive a stipend and tuition, and will be asked to join a summer research program prior to graduation.
