The MBRS - RISE Scholarship Program is designed to prepare students from underrepresented groups (African-American, Native American, Hispanic American and Pacific Islanders) for biomedical careers by providing academic support and a stimulating research experience. Annual Financial Support: Stipend - $18,000 Tuition - Fall/Spring semesters Program Activities: Summer and Academic Year Research Minority Seminar Speaker Series GRE workshops Graduate School (PhD) Placement Activities


Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. In order to qualify for the MBRS Program, a student must be enrolled as a full-time student at the grantee institution.
