Description

Created to encourage periodontal students to enter teaching, the Chasens Fellowship annually provides funding for two $15,000 fellowships awarded to students who have a stated career goal of periodontal education within the U.S. and who are in their third year of a non-military accredited periodontal post-graduate training program.

A strong interest in periodontal education is the primary qualification. In addition, the selected candidates must demonstrate excellent character, integrity, a record of academic and personal achievements, and an aptitude for teaching and research.

Eligibility

Periodontal postgraduate students in their third year of a non-military accredited periodontal post-doctoral training program in the United States, and who intend to pursue a career in periodontal teaching and research in the United States.
