Description
To be eligible for the Allied Healthcare Loan Repayment, the applicant must:
- be currently licensed and practicing in one of the following professions:
- Clinical Laboratory Science
- Community Health Worker
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Medical Assistant
- Medical Imaging
- Medical Laboratory Technology
- Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Occupational Therapy
- Pharmacy
- Pharmacy Technician
- Physical Therapy
- Physical Therapy Assistant
- Radiation Therapy Technology
- Radiologic Technology
- Respiratory Care
- Social Work
- Speech Therapy
- Surgical Technician
- Ultrasound Technician
- Other, Allied Healthcare (will not be given priority)
Nursing is not an allied profession
- be providing direct patient care 32+ hours or more a week
- be working in a qualified facility

- be in good standing with respective licensure, board or certification
- have outstanding educational debt from a commercial or U.S. governmental lending institution
- be free from any other service obligation, including other HPEF programs
- have valid legal presence and ability to work and provide care in the state of California
- be willing to continue working in a medically underserved area for twelve (12) months
- complete and submit your application through CalREACH by application deadline
