Description

The HSF/Camino al Exito Program is designed to assist degree-seeking students who are the children of Telemundo employees or who reside in target Telmundo markets of Los Angles, Chicago, New York, or Miami. Applicants may be high school seniors or current undergraduates. Award amounts generally range from $2,500 to $5,000.

 

Must reside in New York, Chicago, Miami, or Los Angeles or be a family member of a Telemundo employee. To qualify, an applicant must be of Hispanic heritage: persons descended from Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, Central, South American or other Spanish Cultures (Brazilians are included under South American), be a U.S. Citizen OR legal permanent resident, be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at a U.S. accredited and Title IV-eligible institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands, be eligible to apply and receive Title IV fund using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All HSF scholarship applicants must also complete a FAFSA and apply for federal financial aid, have a valid copy of the current year’s Student Aid Report (SAR). SARs are obtained by completing the FAFSA, and be completing his or her first undergraduate or graduate degree.
