The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), with the support of Monster Healthcare, is seeking applicants for scholarships to complete a Baccalaureate to Doctoral degree or Doctoral of Nursing Practice program. This new scholarship program will address the growing shortage of doctorally-prepared nurse educators and is designed to increase the number of educators needed to expand student capacity in entry-level nursing programs.
These scholarships will enable students to complete doctoral programs without interruption in their studies.
All applicants must be enrolled in a full-time accredited Baccalaureate to Doctoral program or Doctorate of Nursing Practice program and must be a United States citizen or permanent U.S. resident. This program seeks and supports diversity in its applicants and requires all applicants to demonstrate potential for long-term contributions to the field of nursing education. In addition the program is committed to advancing well-qualified applicants from under-represented minority groups to improve the nation's ability to provide culturally competent education to its increasingly diverse student population.
