Two Tarrson Regeneration Scholarships are awarded, each in the amount of $37,000 per year for each year of the recipient’s three-year periodontal training program. The scholarships are intended to encourage research in regeneration. Since scholars must commit to spending one year in full-time teaching for each year they receive the award, the scholarship also addresses the shortage of periodontal educators.
Applicants must be students who have been accepted into accredited U.S. periodontal postdoctoral training programs or are first-year residents within the first six months of their periodontal postdoctoral training program.
At least one of the paper’s researchers must be a periodontist or a periodontal postgraduate student.
This funding opportunity requires applicants to hold U.S. Citizenship.
