Make no payments while you're in school and up to six months after graduating or ceasing enrollment.
Eligible applicants are undergraduate students who (1) are enrolled and seeking a degree at an eligible school; (2) are enrolled in an eligible program (students participating in allopathic medical, osteopathic medical, JSD, LLM, or JD law programs are not eligible for the Wells Fargo Collegiate Loan but may be eligible for other Wells Fargo programs); (3) have established, positive credit histories, an acceptable debt-to-income ratio, and a minimum income of $12,000, or a cosigner who does; and (4) are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residents. For permanent and temporary residents, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident cosigner is required.
Applicants may borrow the cost of education minus other financial aid or $120,000, whichever is less.
Other RestrictionsUndergraduate or graduate student enrolled at least half time at an eligible school and making satisfactory academic progress. Credit-worthy or credit-ready with a credit-worthy cosigner. Enrolled in an eligible program (Students participating in Chiropractic, JSD, LLM or JD law programs or any graduate Health Professionals degree are not eligible for the Wells Fargo Collegiate Loan but may be eligible for other Wells Fargo programs). A U.S. citizen or national or permanent resident without conditions. For permanent residents, a credit-worthy cosigner is required.
