The Foundation offers scholarships to students currently enrolled in accredited occupational therapy programs. Preference is given to upper level students. The application season opens in the fall of the year. Scholarship information is announced on the AOTF website at www.aotf.org in October. Application forms and materials can be downloaded from the website or completed on line through the AOTF Scholarship Application System. Only one application is necessary for all of the scholarships for which an applicant is eligible. A Scholarship Selection Committee, comprised of occupational therapy practitioners and educators who work as volunteers, reviews all of the applications and recommends scholarship recipients. Winners are announced in May, and each winner receives a check to be applied to educational costs.
