Explore resources on how to pay for a health professions education and then take stock of your own financial story by completing a personal financial literacy worksheet. Student attendees can then submit their action plan and receive a coffee on HPW.
View the financial resources, complete the financial literacy worksheet for their personal use, and share your action plan with HPW.
Average Time: 30-45 minutes
Teacher Challenge: Ask your students to do research on the average student loan debt for their chosen profession. As a group, discuss opportunities in the student’s control to reduce their own student debt.
Parent Challenge: Talk with your child about what a credit score is, and why it is important. Help them find their own credit score. Explain what actions impact a credit score.
