HPW Lesson Plans

Thank you for registering for Health Professions Week.  We’re excited to share with you HPW activities and events that can be utilized in your classroom, either virtually or in-person.

HPW2020 starts on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Since HPW video content is on-demand, feel free to access it at any point during Health Professions Week (Nov 16-19) to facilitate classroom discussions and activities with your health and science classes.

HPW has content that is designed for both high school and college-aged students to learn about careers in many health professions.  We’ve worked with our partners at NCHSE to develop high school lesson plans for most of our 2020 content.  College faculty and advisors are also welcome to adapt the content for their use in classrooms or extra-curricular club activities.  HPW content is great for:

  • getting students involved in researching health careers.
  • formulating your own Q&A discussion.
  • incorporating on-demand content in your teaching or advising materials
  • locating credible resources for students online.

Let’s get started!  Click on a daily event below to learn more.
